Casio Projector – A Micro-Portable

Casio’s latest projector is designed to be a micro-portable. It’s aimed at schools that need to share projectors or for specialist teachers who move from one room to another.

CASIO’s innovative laser and LED hybrid light source makes this possible. It ensures brilliantly clear and bright colors, while eliminating mercury from the light source. It also starts up and shuts down faster and is less noisy, thereby saving energy and cost.

High-purity color reproduction

High-purity color reproduction enables images and videos to be displayed as they are meant to be seen, bringing presentations to life with stunning visual effects. In addition, the innovative light source eliminates the need for mercury lamps, reducing environmental impact and saving on lamp replacement costs.

The projectors are able to reach full brightness immediately with the Direct ON/OFF function and require no lengthy warm-up or cool-down periods. This significantly shortens presentation preparation time and allows lessons to follow a more flexible structure.

A built-in light sensor detects ambient light conditions and automatically adjusts the projection brightness to maintain clear, bright projection in various lighting conditions – helping to reduce eye strain and power consumption. In addition, bundled software EZ-Converter FA enables PowerPoint files with animation effects to be converted into a format compatible with the equipment and displayed.

Fast startup

CASIO projectors use an innovative light engine that eliminates the need for warm-up and cool-down phases. This enables them to start up and reach full brightness in just five seconds. This not only saves time, but also reduces power consumption and heat output, and it improves energy-saving credentials.

The unique semiconductor light source used in CASIO projectors lasts approximately 20,000 hours (depending on the model) with virtually no maintenance needs. Moreover, dust resistance design drastically reduces deterioration in projection brightness that commonly occurs due to dust.

Some models are equipped with a wide-angle 1.5x zoom lens that expands installation possibilities, while some can be ceiling mounted for fixed positioning in venues such as conference rooms and classrooms. The intelligent light sensor controls projection brightness according to the ambient lighting condition, and a quick light control function handles manual brightness adjustment for even more power savings. Moreover, some models support wireless projection from a tablet or smartphone with an original CASIO app, eliminating the need for cumbersome wired connections between a PC and a projector.

Easy to use

The Laser and LED hybrid light source in Casio projectors provides a long life and a low maintenance cost. Longer operating lives reduce the frequency of replacing mercury lamps and provide significant savings on replacement costs as well as on operating time for maintenance and electricity consumption.

Casio offers a range of advanced projectors that feature a powerful and flexible light engine, suitable for schools and business. In addition to offering a wide range of input terminals, many models are equipped with a screen mirroring function* that enables you to project content from your smartphone or tablet computer without connecting a PC.

These projectors feature a dynamic brightness control function that automatically adjusts to the room environment, displaying a brilliant image even in daylight. This eliminates the need to change lamps when the ambient light level changes, and saves energy by reducing power consumption when not in use. It also helps to improve image quality by reducing deterioration of the luminance due to dust.

Low total cost of ownership

Casio’s hybrid LED/Laser light source technology offers eco-friendly data projection in classrooms, business and on-the-go. It also saves energy costs by eliminating the need for mercury-vapor lamps.

The lamp-free projector eliminates the need for mercury replacement, reducing facility costs and waste disposal fees. It is also compliant with the Minamata Convention, a global treaty that protects human health and the environment from mercury.

The 2GB internal memory allows moving and still images, PDF files, PowerPoint files with animation effects (after conversion), and data from external storage devices to be projected without a PC. EZ-converter FA software is available free from the CASIO website to convert files for use with a computer. With One Click Connection, establishing a wireless connection is simple and hassle-free. This spares IT managers the trouble of constructing a network environment. Disconnecting the cable when a class ends also makes it easy to prepare for the next session. Moreover, manual brightness adjustment is unnecessary, further saving power.
